Enjoy the Andes by bike
Getting to know the Andes by bike is one of the best ways to get know its immense beauty The Cordillera Blanca (Spanish for "white range") has enormous potential for explorers on bikes. It has an endless amount of single tracks that run across the mountain. From these trails, you can enjoy the spectacular snow-capped mountains that, like silent giants, dominate the landscape.

On the Huascarán route, the natural gets mixed with the social. The presence of peoples and villages along the route is a vital part of the experience we offer you. You’ll get to know the essence of the Andes that captivates so many.

Paying respect to social, cultural and environmental norms, we’ll penetrate the veins of the Huascarán National Park. We will enjoy all that the Callejón Conchucos and its surroundings have to offer during an epic and demanding bike trip passing through some of the most beautiful spots of the Peruvian mountains.

    • We recommend you to do at least a 1-Day Mountain Bike in altitude to be acclimatized before doing this tour.

    Itinerary

    Day 01: Arriving to Lima airport Jorge Chavez. Transportation from airport to Hotel.
    Day 02: Lima – Huaraz. Transportation from the Hotel to the bus terminal, around eight hours.
    Optionally: a 50 minute flight from Lima.
    Day 03: Short trip to get acclimatized to the altitude. The trip ends at the hot springs of Monterrey
    Day 04: Resting day. We have a meeting to talk about the trip
    Day 05: Huaraz – Catac – Chavín de Huntar (70 km)
    Day 06: Chavín – Mallas (45 km)
    Day 07: Mallas – San Luis (73 km)
    Day 08: Resting day and visit to the Chacas village.
    Day 09: San Luis – Yanama (50 km)
    Day 10: Yanama – Yurac Corral (51km)
    Day 11: Yurac Corral - Yungay – Huaraz (31Km)
    Day 12: Huaraz – Lima (transfer to the bus station, around eight hours. Transfer from the bus station to the airport)
