Cotopaxi is an iconic, highly active stratovolcano in Ecuador, standing 5,897 meters (19,347 feet) high within Cotopaxi National Park. Renowned for its almost perfectly symmetrical, snow-capped cone, it is one of the world's highest active volcanoes, featuring a massive crater and a rare equatorial glacier. Chimborazo 6268 m
The Chimborazo, like so many mountains on earth,Gualguallaed by global warming and the glacier melts slowly. Thus, the conditions for an ascent constantly change. The normal route has become much more difficult and dangerous because of rock falls. For that reason, we only offer the safer route Gualgualla with High Camp.
TIP:
Acclimatization and Preparation
Proper acclimatization is the foundation for a successful climb. Before attempting Cotopaxi or Chimborazo, it is highly recommended to spend a few days trekking volcanoes below 5,000 meters such as Pasochoa, Rucu Pichincha, Rumiñahui, or Iliniza Norte. This gradual progression allows your body to adapt naturally to high altitude and significantly improves your performance during summit days.

GROUP 04-12 TRAVELERS
Aconcagua is the highest mountain in America, located in western Argentina, near the Chile border. The Normal Route is not technical a climb up following the Northwest Ridge. It is the altitude that poses the most problem.
Guiding an expedition to the Aconcagua mountain requires skilled guides, who have good experience in high mountain and are capable of managing the standards of work and security.
The normal route start with an acclimatization trek from Plaza Francia (base camp from south face), and continue with a progressive approximation to the Plaza de Mulas, - journey of 40 km-. It will take us 3 days to get to base camp. Then 3 high altitude camps are located in strategically position before getting to the summit. In that way, we guarantee a good acclimatization before starting the ascent to Aconcagua. Our program suggests having two days for carrying all the equipment’s, acclimate and extra days for any incident. When the last stage begins, we will go higher and higher, towards the higher camp until reaching the summit. In Aconcagua, sometimes, the presence of white wind makes the ascent difficult, so in this case, is when we use those extra days for incidents, increasing our chance reaching the top.
TIP:
Physical and mental preparation: Before embarking on the expedition, make sure you are in good physical and mental condition. Engage in prior training, including long hikes, mountain climbing, and endurance exercises. Additionally, cultivate the right mindset to face the challenges the mountain presents and maintain a positive attitude towards obstacles.
Gradual acclimatization: Aconcagua is situated at a high altitude, so it is crucial to gradually acclimate to the height before attempting to reach the summit. Precede your journey with ascents on lower-altitude mountains, which will help you adjust and reduce the risk of altitude sickness.
